Our Objectives

The objects of the CAN International are:

(i) to promote sustainable development for the benefit of the public by:
  • the relief of poverty and the improvement of the conditions of life in socially and economically disadvantaged communities, and
  • the conservation and the protection of the environment and the sustainable use of natural resources.

(ii) to advance the education of the public in subjects related to sustainable development and the protection and conservation of the environment and to promote study and research in such subjects, and disseminate the results to the wider public.

Our Charity

Community and Nature International (CAN International) is a charity registered in England and Wales (No. 1166983) and Scotland (No. SC047810).

The principal objective of CAN International is to support the communities to relieve poverty and improve the conditions of lives, especially in disadvantaged ethnic minority communities, and conserve the environmental resources on which they depend.

We would like to bring the real change in the lives of the people in the marginalised and poverty-stricken communities.

We implement activities across different parts of the UK and overseas, particularly in Nepal in collaboration with the stakeholders.

We do raise funds, receive grants, conduct research and support communities to implement a number of initiatives to enhance the wellbeing of people in the communities and conserve the natural environments (e.g. forests and landscapes).
